On Saturday, September 10, at 9 a.m., the Spokane Valley community will be invited back to the newly remodeled Walmart store at 15727 E. Broadway Ave. The store is celebrating its remodel and 25 years of local impact with a community celebration. The store manager and the Spokane Fire and Police departments will lead the celebration, which includes the unveiling of a new mural, ribbon-cutting ceremony, recognition of associates that have worked at the store since its opening, and a grant presentation to local nonprofits. 
 
Families can enjoy local food trucks, watch the Red Bull sky flyers jump out of planes, win prizes from vendors, meet local police and fire fighters, watch the Ridgeline High School marching band perform and more.
 
Following the ribbon-cutting celebration, the media is invited inside the Spokane Valley store to see the remodel with innovations and improvements designed to save customers time and money.
