Virtual Lunch & Learn
The Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Spokane Valley to present this Virtual Lunch & Learn meeting.
Join us on Tuesday, December 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for an informative presentation followed by a Q&A session with professional commercial real estate experts. Gordon Hester, President and CEO of Kiemle Hagood will be joined by legal experts Rob Brunett and Taudd Hume from WBM | Witherspoon Brajcich McPhee to discuss the common impacts on commercial real estate caused by the COVID-19 public health emergency.
As businesses in the U.S. economy face their biggest challenge since the 2007-2009 Great Recession, both tenants and landlords are caught in a delicate situation. When a business is forced to close suddenly, even if it's temporarily, the tenant cannot produce rent, meaning a landlord may have difficulty paying a mortgage (if there is one). There are no winners in this situation. We will discuss viable alternatives to mitigate these situations.
Gordon Hester is President and CEO of Kiemle Hagood. Gordon is a licensed REALTOR® and joined Kiemle Hagood in 1990. Gordon is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Finance. Gordon oversees the corporate operations of the company, department heads for all management divisions, and the operations of K&H Facility Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kiemle Hagood. Gordon is actively involved with trade, civic, and community organizations.
