Communities In Schools Presentation of EMMA at the Spokane Civic Theatre
Communities in Schools of Northeast Washington invites you to a special night of comedy at Spokane Civic Theatre!
Join us for a performance of Emma, a fast-paced, highly theatrical adaptation of Jane Austen's novel. The show is filled with flirtation, misunderstandings, witty banter, and plenty of surprises as we follow the mischievous Emma Woodhouse, the self-proclaimed "Matchmaker of Highbury." Forward, onward, and upward! Emma Woodhouse is clever, wealthy, and believes she knows best when it comes to love—especially when it’s other people’s love lives. A fast-paced comedy filled with flirtation, misunderstandings, witty banter, and plenty of surprises, this fresh new stage adaptation interprets Jane Austen’s classic with delightfully original flair.
