DESCRIPTION:The State Legislature has passed a new law requiring a payroll tax to fund a Long-Term Care program that will be provided by the State.  This is a mandatory and automatic tax of $.58% per $100 on all W-2 employees beginning in January 2022.  You have until November 1\, 2021 to opt out of the state plan IF you have a private plan for Long-Term Care.  Attend one of our free zoom workshops to learn what the state program provides and how to opt-out if you so choose.
