DESCRIPTION:Join us at this year's luncheon\, there will be time to shop our products\, network\, and learn about the great work of Christ Kitchen. As a locally funded non-profit\, we rely on the generosity of our community to continue our mission of providing life-changing job training to women in poverty\, who are breaking the chains of generational trauma. Your ticket includes a box lunch\, and the opportunity to hear from our amazing guest speaker. \n\n\n\nOur guest speaker this year: \nIf you've ever met Megan or heard her speak\, you already know that she radiates hope\, energy\, joy\, and sincerity. Megan is committed to using her life to spread hope\, share truth\, and celebrate others. Whether she's writing\, teaching across the globe\, or simply investing time in people\, Megan's joy and authenticity shine through in everything she does.\n\nBut what truly sets Megan apart is how she sees others. She has a remarkable gift for noticing people\, asking the right questions\, and helping them feel deeply understood. Currently residing in Lakewood\, California\, she shares life's adventures with her two boys\, Foster and Jedidiah\n\nMegan is currently finishing her Doctorate of Ministry while serving as a teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church and as the Director of Women's Ministries at Hume Lake Christian Camps. In addition\, she shepherds women at Arbor Road Church in Long Beach\, California.\n\nHer published works include:\n\n\n	Relaxed (2024) and its accompanying study guide\n	Beautiful Word Bible Study: John (2022\, HarperCollins)\n	Meant for Good and the corresponding Bible study (2020\, Zondervan)\n	SelfLess (2017\, David C Cook)\n	7 Family Ministry Essentials (2015\, co-written with Dr. Michelle Anthony\, David C Cook)\n\n\nWe couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Megan as our guest speaker this year.
