SUMMARY:Make Your Own Beaded Hey Dudes Shoes
DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY\, SEPTEMBER 8TH\, 2024\n\n1 PM   6 PM | $150 per person\n\nThe Coeur d'Alene people value adornment highly. To this day we wear beautifully crafted foot wear like beaded moccasins of different styles. This workshop focuses on ornamentation worn by Coeur d'Alene Tribal people. You will learn to bead and decorate Hey Dudes to give a newer contemporary look to your shoes.\n\nThis is a 6 hour hands-on workshop that is guided by Coeur d'Alene Tribal member artist Bobbie White. You will "make your own" beaded Hey Dudes. Bobbie will instruct you through this authentic Coeur d'Alene Tribal traditional art workshop. Participants will learn how to create geometric designs and block patterns using an edge finishing stitch. The design will consist of using 3-4 colors of your choice.\n\nAll materials are provided. Suitable for ages 15 and up. Shoe size is required.\n\n$10 Extra Play Cash and a $10 Food Voucher is included.\n\nMust be 18 or older and a Coeur Rewards member to receive Extra Play Cash.
