USPS Operation Santa & Cold Weather Gear Drive
Join us for an afternoon brimming with the joy of the Christmas season. This event is hosted by the Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners (SNAPS) and the Greater Spokane Postal Customer Council (PCC) and offers not only educational insights but also serves as a chance to contribute to our community. From 2 pm to 2:45 pm you will have the opportunity to learn about SNAP and its impact on our local area. Afterwards we invite you to help with the acceptance sorting and possibly the distribution of cold weather gear.
Get ready for a festive experience! Santa will be in attendance so don’t forget to bring your little ones to capture some unforgettable moments with him. They’ll also have the chance to write letters to Santa sharing their hopes and dreams through the USPS Operation Santa Program. A special collection box will be set up for them to drop off their heartfelt letters for free. Discover how children’s letters from across the nation can be adopted to help make their holiday wishes a reality this season.
Refreshments will be served including Santa's favorite cookies, candy canes, cotton candy popcorn and hot chocolate.
This promises to be a delightful day filled with enjoyment. You are welcome to stay for the entire five hours or simply attend the presentation and assist for as long as you can. Setup will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
We look forward to seeing everyone there as we support our local families in need.
